Tithi: the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 11th and 13th are favorable. The 4th, 9th, 14th (Rikta) and the new moon day (Amavasya) are avoided.
Weekday: Wednesday to Friday favor inaugurations. Saturday and Tuesday suit machinery.
Moon: a waxing Moon (tithis 1 to 15) is preferred for new starts.
Mercury retrograde: lowers the score, since contracts and paperwork are more error-prone.
