Bed placement tips
- Place the bed against the South or West wall of the bedroom, leaving the North-East open.
- Use a solid headboard and a solid wall behind it, not a window.
- Avoid sleeping directly under a beam, and keep the space under the bed free of clutter.
- Avoid a mirror facing the bed, and keep electronics and clutter away from the bedside.
- Keep the bedroom calm in color: beige, peach, light brown or soft green.
- Married couples traditionally use the South-West bedroom, with the bed toward the South or West.
Traditional guidance for reflection, not medical advice. If you have trouble sleeping, talk to a doctor.
