About Anant Chaturdashi
Anant Chaturdashi falls on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturdashi and is the closing day of Ganeshotsav, when large Ganesha idols are immersed with processions.
It is also the day of the Anant Vrat to Vishnu in his endless (Ananta) form, in which a sacred thread with fourteen knots is tied on the arm.
