Pluto stations direct on 16 October 2026 in Aquarius
Pluto stations direct at 3.1° Aquarius on 16 October 2026, 02:40 UTC (8:10 AM IST), ending the retrograde that began on 6 May 2026.
Pluto rules power, transformation, endings and rebirth. Astrologers read its retrograde as a period to review and revise in those areas rather than start something new. Retrograde is an optical effect: the planet appears to move backwards because of the relative motion of Earth and Pluto.
After a station direct a planet slows to a stop and then picks up speed over the following days, so astrologers say its themes gradually move forward again.
